Sunday @ St Andrew's presents Phoebe Hewitt, Sarah McDowall and Kay Shacklock

Sunday St Andrews April 2025

Our guest performers will be Phoebe Hewitt, Sarah McDowall and (new addition) Kay Shacklock. You can see more information about each of these musicians below. We hope to see you here. Tickets are $10 per person, purchased at the door, and include afternoon tea. (Note: no EFTPOS is available.)

Phoebe Hewitt is a violinist and music teacher. She plays as part of the folk duo Quercus and also in the band The Prairie Wild. She has performed as a member of the New Classics Sinfonia and recently set up the Waiuku Junior Strings.

Sarah McDowall has been teaching cello, violin, singing and piano for more than 25 years. She is also a freelance accompanist, arranger, adjudicator, conductor and soloist, and has directed several award-winning musical theatre productions.

Kay Shacklock has concentrated on collaborative piano from an early age, attending the Guildhall School of Music in London for post-graduate study, under the guidance of master accompanist Graham Johnson. Now based in Howick, Kay has a busy teaching studio, 'The Green Room', and works extensively with singers and instrumentalists of all levels. She has a strong connection with the School of Music at the University of Auckland, both in undergraduate and postgraduate studies, accompanying work and enjoys a support role in the Voice Department.

We hope you can join us. Please remember to invite your friends and family!
